
SAVOUR THE EXTRA-ORDINARY!
Ah Nui is best known for its plant-based XO Sauce, made entirely without seafood. Its bold, umami flavour makes it an ideal complement for dumplings and stir-fries. The brand primarily sells its products through local grocery stores and farmers’ markets in the Vancouver area. Although Ah Nui is a new brand, there’s significant potential for growth. I'm excited to be a creative collaborator in helping Ah Nui achieve success.





Recognizing that brand awareness was crucial for long-term success, we developed a 6-month plan to boost Ah Nui's social media followers and engagement. This was followed by the creation of a Shopify website to enable direct customer orders. As we hit key milestones, we continuously optimized our content for better results.
I led the content layout and copywriting for the website, ensuring the messaging was clear, engaging, and on-brand. I handled the full website design and implementation in Shopify, building a user-friendly interface and a flexible backend that allows the client to easily make updates and adjustments. Throughout the process, I provided guidance on best practices for e-commerce design and content strategy. I also created all product imagery, including clean e-com shots and lifestyle photos, to bring the brand to life. In addition, I produced short-form social media videos that were repurposed for use across the site to enhance engagement and storytelling.
This project required the creation of a wide range of assets, so I began with a clear strategy, visual direction, and realistic timelines to align with the client’s budget. The creative execution included both in-studio photography and on-location photo and video shoots to capture the full scope of the brand. Planning and collaboration were managed through shared Google Docs and Sheets to keep everything transparent and organized. I used a combination of Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, Figma and OpenAI tools to bring the creative vision to life efficiently and cohesively.
Within the first six months, the project delivered strong results across multiple areas. Online store sessions increased by 252%, with a 17% returning customer rate and a 0.98% conversion rate. On social media, the brand saw a 253% growth in Instagram followers. Overall, the project significantly boosted brand awareness and established a more consistent, professional presence across platforms.





The food industry is highly competitive, making it essential for products to stand out—especially in a niche market. As a new brand, the focus was on building a distinctive visual identity that could capture attention and establish trust. This project was just the beginning, setting the stage for continued growth and long-term success.
Given the niche and competitive nature of the market, we carefully balanced efforts and costs to build a strong marketing foundation that will support Ah Nui's growth.
